The Rotary Club of Pontllanfraith Rotarians in the Club helped and supported the running of a Sinclair C5 from John O'Groats to Lands End in 1987, this helped raise £10,000 for Leukemia Research Wales and also paid the Club's money due for the Polio Plus campaign.
