This is your chance to own this very fun little Kit Car. Built around a Morris Marina this Kit car has a speedy little 1.8 litre MGB engine inside. And believe you me it does make this kit car rather fun.
The car is in excellent fully useable condition and has had some great work carried out on it recently only increasing the fun, useability and ultimately the value.
The car drives and runs very well. It comes complete with all weather kit so can be driven even in the rain. But now that the summer is here this car will look awesome driving around fully converted / open top.
The MGB engine was rebuilt fully when the car was first built and has had the following upgrades:
Bored to 1951cc
Compression Ratio 9.5 to 1
Stage 2 Cylinder head standard valvues
1 and 3/4 inch SU carbs
Piper fast road cam
Crank and flywheel balacnced (lightened)
Janspeed Exhause manifold
Aldon Distributor
In addition to the engine details since I have owned it I have fitted:
A brand new Hood the last to be fitted by Polyfacto LTD who originally designed the hood for this car.
It has had a brand new battery HB038 from Halfords
Back box of the exhaust has been replaced - the original was a little too noisey.
Fan drive belt replaced
New Plugs, plug leads, distributor cap and rotor arm
New Condenser
New Points
Oil change and new oil filter
New Oil Cooler Hose
New fuel filter
New Rear brake Cylinders and shoes
New Super Flex tie bar bushes
As you can see I have restored many aspects of the car to its former glory. You will not be dissapointed with this one. Take a look at the pictures to see just how much fun you could be having. As you will see the car even has an alarm.
If I had to say anything bad about the car I would list just a few minor faults. One of the front fog lamps is cracked (as shown in photo). There is a mark on the paint work at the rear near one of the light clusters. I have recently had to get the wheels balanced as there is a little uneven wear on a couple of the tyres but nothing serious.
Car comes complete with MOT Until 31st July 2010 and Tax until 31st August 2010 . I will provide you with a large amount of information about the car along with original receipts for the work that I have had done whilst I have owned the car. I have also thrown in a morris Marina Haynes Manual book to keep you on the road
The Kit car has been properly registered and comes with the correct V5 reflecting the correct registration. The Kit Car has a Q registration plate which in turn reflects that it is a kit car.
